On June 23, 1967, The Monkees and their crew departed Los Angeles for Paris, France. Over the next several days in the French capital, The Monkees filmed what would become the second season episode "Monkees in Paris." Jackie Richmond was the editor of the UK publication Monkees Monthly, which published 32 issues between 1967 and 1969. Subscriptions were available to those outside of the UK, and each issue contained rare black and white photos, exclusive features, news, a mailbag, and more.
The editor of Monkees Monthly penned this piece for the September 1969 issue, which was also its last.
