The Monkees Tale was originally published in 1985 by author Eric Lefcowitz. It has been updated a couple of times through the years, and its most recent edition was retitled Monkee Business and published in 2013. Below is the cover of the 2010 print version.

The Monkees' tenth studio album (and first since 1970), Pool It!, was issued by Rhino Records on August 19, 1987.
