Passing time until the tour starts up again! Here's Davy's "You and I," Michael's "While I Cry," Micky's "Bye Bye Baby Bye Bye" and Peter's "Tear the Top Right Off My Head."
Last night The Monkees performed in Buffalo, New York at the Center for the Arts. The tour will take a short break this week and then work its way up the East Coast starting in Philadelphia on November 29. The tour will close in New York City on Broadway at the Beacon Theatre on December 2.
Check out a very rocking "Circle Sky" and "Long Title" from last night's show in Buffalo:
On Saturday evening, The Monkees played in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out this review of the show:
The Monkees visited the historic Ryman Auditorium when they were guests on The Johnny Cash Show on July 19, 1969. The trio sang Michael Nesmith's "Nine Times Blue" in an appearance that was filmed earlier that May.

A formal summary of the 2012 tour will appear sometime after the completion of the current tour.
The Chicago Tribune delivers a rave review for last night's show in Chicago here.
"An oldies show is inherently built on nostalgia. There's always a pay-off for the faithful in the trip down memory lane. But nothing could have prepared the uninitiated for the powerful concert the Monkees delivered at the sold-out Chicago Theatre on Friday.
It wasn't just a recap of the band's greatest hits. It was an emotionally disarming multimedia show that, for all its backward glance, felt fresh and electric.
One would be hard-pressed to find another band that curates its history as effectively as The Monkees do during the course of a single show. It was an avalanche of non-stop cultural eye candy on the screen behind them, including rare photos, covers of vintage teen magazines and clips from their TV series and the film Head."
And here's another one for this past Thursday's show in Minneapolis.

I've received emails asking about the status of a Monkees Present deluxe edition box set from Rhino Handmade. As many of you know, Rhino Handmade released deluxe editions for The Birds, The Bees and The Monkees, Head and Instant Replay. However, there is still no information or news about the potential for a Monkees Present box.
Take a moment to email Rhino and let them know you would like to see this set get released. Their website accepts suggestions and this is the email that is listed: email@example.com.
Micky on the bongos! And check out Coco Dolenz in the back on finger symbols and Christian Nesmith adding some nice acoustic guitar, too.
I'm really enjoying Peter's work on bass guitar during this tour. I'd be happy to see him play it for a majority of the show.
Here's "Sunny Girlfriend" from Friday's show in Chicago. Nez alerts the crowd that his Gretsch is suddenly out of tune and tells Micky and Peter that he wants to restart "Sunny Girlfriend."
More pictures and pricing can be found in this previous blog post.
Be advised...if you are interested in purchasing merchandise at the shows, I've gotten several emails from attendees who are saying they were unable to get their desired items due to very long lines. So, if you want a shirt or program, get to the venue early. As a result, a lot of people have been asking where they can find tour merchandise online. My only suggestion at this point is to keep an eye out at monkees.com, which started selling leftover tour merchandise last year after the 2011 concerts were completed. Who knows, this might happen again.
UPDATE 11/18/12: Per a message on Facebook, tour merchandise will be available at Monkees.com after the tour.
UPDATE 3/21/13: Rhino, via the Monkees Facebook page, reports that 2012 merchandise will be available at Monkees.com soon.
UPDATE 7/15/13: 2012 merchandise is still NOT available at Monkees.com, but some shirts from the 2011 tour are for sale here.
