Here are Michael, Micky, and Peter with their backing band, members of the touring staff and crew, and producer Andrew Sandoval in the middle. Job well done to everyone!!
If you missed your chance to purchase merchandise at the shows or weren't able to attend (OR didn't want to wait in the long lines), you'll soon have a chance to buy it online on Monkees.com. Stay tuned...

On December 3, 1966, The Monkees played their first formal live concert in Honolulu, Hawaii. Check out the 1966/1967 Tour page for more information and pictures.
I just came across this footage on YouTube of The Monkees performing in Portland, Maine during the 20th Anniversary Tour. The show was on November 21, 1986 at the Cumberland County Civic Center. Prepare to be blown away by electronic drums and '80s fashion! I'm going to add this video to the 1986 page soon.
From the final show of the 2012 tour in New York City last evening...
(The complete Head set is found in the third video below, but the audio is not completely synced in certain parts with the video, or so it seems!)
Tonight Mike, Micky and Peter will play the last show of their 2012 tour. The group will take the stage in New York City at the sold out Beacon Theatre for the 12th and final date.
It's been fun, hasn't it?
Thanks to JD at Monkee45s, we have an update on the status of Monkees products at Rhino Records and Rhino Handmade. I've received a few emails asking whether or not the Head and Instant Replay Handmade deluxe boxes can be ordered directly from Rhino by phone. I recently contacted Rhino inquiring about the availability of their Handmade products but was unable to get a response. However, JD had more success.
JD was told that all Monkees music is officially available at Amazon or iTunes, but nothing can be ordered directly from Rhino for the time being, and that includes the Handmade deluxe boxes. Apparently all Handmade projects are on hold until sometime next year while Rhino's website and inventory is revamped.
We can keep our fingers crossed that once Rhino and Rhino Handmade are ready to go we'll see a Monkees Present deluxe box. Keep checking here for more information as it becomes available.
While the deluxe box for The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees has long been sold out (and is not even available used on Amazon), the Head and Instant Replay deluxes are on Amazon. However, private retailers are selling them and some of the asking prices are fairly high.
Thanks, JD, for this update.
This is one of the tribute videos that is screened during the concert in honor of Davy. It is followed by "Daydream Believer."
Last night The Monkees played at the State Theatre Regional Arts Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
This weekend marks the final two dates on the 2012 Monkees tour. Tonight the band appears at The Paramount in Huntington, New York, and the tour closes on Broadway at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday. As you may recall, last year's show at the Beacon received a rave review from Rolling Stone.
