The Monkees are the featured story in the upcoming June 2020 issue of Goldmine. The magazine is available via Amazon Kindle, but as of this posting, Amazon still lists the May edition as the most current. Goldmine's website happens to be offering their May issue (featuring Mick Jagger and Keith Richards on the cover) as a complimentary digital download. The Monkees are featured in a multi-page article in the latest issue of Goldmine, which also includes a review of Good Times! and an interview with Andy Partridge, who wrote "You Bring the Summer" for the group's new album.
Here's a story from a while back that has not been posted on the blog. I'd like to thank representatives from Goldmine magazine for contacting the Live Almanac to make sure the fanbase was aware that the longtime music magazine honored The Monkees as one of the first inductees into their Hall of Fame.
The Monkees also recently topped the public vote for the Pop Music Hall of Fame. So, Cleveland, what are you waiting for?
