David Winters is an Emmy-nominated dancer, choreographer, producer, director, screenwriter, and actor. His credits include a multitude of television shows, motion pictures, and TV specials, including West Side Story, T.A.M.I. Show, and A Star Is Born.
In late 1966, Winters was hired to choreograph the first live concert appearances by The Monkees. He went on to work with the group throughout 1967 and directed two episodes of the television series during its second season: "A Coffin Too Frequent" and "Monkees Blow Their Minds."
