Numerous articles have appeared online covering the announcement of the tour. Most of them are fairly similar with quotes from the official press release and the Rolling Stone feature. Below are some highlights:
*Michael Nesmith and Micky Dolenz of The Monkees will visit the Count Basie Theatre June 25th for their first-ever national tour as a duo, with E-Street Band guitarist, Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer and Disciples Of Soul leader Steven Van Zandt on board as host.

Bummer, no Wisconsin dates. Maybe I’ll chase to Chicago. Maybe.

I, too am looking forward to more FNB gigs! I saw them in San Francisco and what an unforgettable evening it was!

They need to swing into the Southeastern US (Nashville seems like a no-brainer). Can't help but think that Nez is keeping the number of tour dates down, given his long-standing aversion to being on the road.

Can't help but wonder how Peter feels. Sure seems like they left him out in order to split the profits two ways instead of three and "honor" Nez's statement that he would not tour with "The Monkees" again. Semantics. Sad.

Hey there, Rich! Nice to see I'm not the only one hopeful for SE U.S. gig! North Florida would be nice and Nashville would work for me, too.

Okay . . . I can use the resale code to get into the site to buy tickets for Toronto -- are VIP tickets different than this? If I buy tickets now and then buy VIP access on Friday am I buying double the tickets?

I can't be for sure, Tom, but I would check the venue's website for all available options.

I did the VIP package for Michael's gig in San Francisco and it was so worth it! I couldn't pass it up and so glad I didn't. I would purchase the VIP for one of Michael's & Micky's gigs but unable to get out of town for these.

Thanks, but I was specifically looking at the Chicago show. You have listed 4 sites for presale, but the only one I can find is through ticketfly and they're just VIP. How do I get regular presale tickets? Please help.
