As previously reported, there will be multiple configurations of The Monkees' new album Good Times! when it is released in May (and later in July on vinyl). A new listing on f.ye.'s website shows what seemingly appears to be a Japanese edition of the album on compact disc. This is noteworthy as albums released on CD in Japan often feature bonus tracks.
Outside of the standard 13 track CD that is available for pre-order on Monkees.com, Amazon, and other retailers, the iTunes and HDTracks deluxe version of the album will feature "Terrifying" and "Me and Magdalena" (Version 2). Peter Tork's "A Better World" will be included on the compact disc being sold exclusively at f.y.e. retail stores, and "Love's What I Want" can be heard on a special 7" single that will accompany vinyl purchases made at Barnes and Noble.
Will a Japanese edition of Good Times! collect all of the bonus songs that are not featured on the standard 13 track CD? Keep checking back - the Live Almanac will report a track listing for this version of the album when it becomes available.
