A big thank you to Scott Catton for a report from Toronto's Hard Rock Cafe, where they are heavily promoting The Monkees' brand new album:
"The Hard Rock Cafe in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is currently undertaking a CD promotion for The Monkees' new record Good Times! I was there a few days ago and if you're a customer at the restaurant, you can fill out a slip to win the new album. They have a great showcase display window promoting it, too, and I have enclosed some photos of it...sorry that they aren't better as they were taken later in the day while dealing with the reflection in the glass. I thanked the manager for doing the promotion and told him I would let other fans know about it. The display features cardboard cutouts of the icons from the album cover, the guitar logo Record Store Day picture disc, and a pyramid display of the new CDs. The restaurant is located on Yonge Street in downtown Toronto in a busy tourist area. And by the way, the only difference in the Canadian version of Good Times! is the printing on the bottom of the rear cover."
