During The Monkees' June 9, 1967 appearance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Micky broke protocol and took a leap into the reflecting pool in front of the stage during the show.
The reflecting pool was removed in 1972. According to HollywoodBowl.com, the pool was 106 feet long, 36 feet wide and 6 feet deep, with a capacity of 100,000 gallons of water.
