Monkee Mania Radio is coming to Live365!
Earlier this week, a Kickstarter campaign was announced to help fund the first-ever Monkees internet radio station with an initial goal of raising $5,000. Pledges to the campaign are necessary to cover costly licensing fees and other startup-related expenses, all in an effort to create a channel dedicated to the music of The Monkees, their solo careers, related programming, and much more.
Launched in 1999, Live365 is an internet radio broadcasting and listening network where users are able to create their own online radio stations. You can listen to Live365 channels on your phone or computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Mobile apps for the station are available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
Monkee Mania Radio hopes to begin webcasting on the first day of summer, June 21, or even earlier. And there's still time to donate to the Kickstarter campaign!
Congratulations to Alan Williams, Jodi Ritzen, Scott Catton, Charles Rosenay, and Marty Ross as they embark on this exciting new endeavor for the Monkees community!
