UPDATE 6/29/2019: David Spero, the son of Don Webster, who hosted Davy and Micky on Upbeat in Cleveland in 1970, recently left a comment on this post (as seen below in the comments section). "Upbeat was my Dad’s show," David wrote. "I remember this day well. It was a big deal to have the Monkees on. They did two songs, lip-synced. 'Oh My My' and 'Pleasant Valley Sunday.'" David also confirmed that the promo video for "Oh My My" was not screened during Davy and Micky's appearance.
I also spoke to David via email, and he provided more details to the Live Almanac regarding the status of any surviving footage. "Unfortunately, most of the tapes were reused due to the high cost of video tape. I don’t know of any [footage] of the Monkees that survived. Having them in the studio that day was as exciting as any other act that performed on the show. One of the few times we had to bring in extra security!"
