Set List & Footage: Michael Nesmith's final concert with The Monkees in Los Angeles, California9/17/2016 Please note that this post is being constantly updated with new video footage. Last night, The Monkees performed to a sold out audience at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, where Michael Nesmith made his stated final concert appearance with the group. Thanks a lot to Sherri Hansen for submitting photographs of the set list: Here's a couple of videos that feature over a half hour of footage from the show: The Monkees make their way to the stage at the start of the show: Large portions of last night's concert were streamed live on The Monkees Tour Facebook page, and it is currently archived there.

Well, I guess youtube will have to do as it dissent appear that this was proffessionally documented. Shame, unless I'm wrong.

Hi Michael, Rhino's John Hughes confirmed to Monkees fan Jeff Gehringer last night at the Pantages that the show was not filmed or recorded.

My thoughts and feelings as well. Maybe the axs live concert will be released even though it features no Mike it was a really good show. Rhino or whoever sure knows how to drop the ball on these sort of things! And the music industry gets all bent out of shape when fans seek out bootlegs!

Was there any mention during the show that it was his final concert or did they just keep it hush hush? I know Micky and Peter tried to have Nez take a bow by himself.

Chris, from the reports I've been sent there was no mention of it being Michael's final concert with The Monkees.

AND no final Monkees walk off stage when the show ended! I wish Michael would have toured in each location...meaning: East Coast, Midwest and West Coast. That way fans in all areas could have seen him for the 50th anniversary tour. Oh well, could have, would have, should have, right?

That vid shot by Gregory Short (2nd frm top, above) does capture the awesome GROUP HUG between the guys when they first take the stage at the very beginning. Pure gold. Well done man ;) Couldn't have been easy standing there behind a phone when the vibes and emotions are running so high.

Nez and the Monkees have never sounded better when playing Sunny Girlfriend and Circle Sky. We are very fortunate fans to have this last great moment when our favorites can still bring it at a high level.

All Monkees fans should appreciate the access to this show. There's videos posted everywhere and a complete audio recording. Technology is our friend. Of course, we all wanted to be there, but we can still feel connected to the show.

Thank you for sharing all this wonderful material, particularly from the prespective of Australian fans such as myself for whom Los Angeles is a long way to go for a Friday night gig. My impression from the footage is that Mike seemed to get the majority of the adulation which in the past had been received by Davy. I understand that extensive touring may not be conducive to the well being of 70 somethings, but I think the three of them could do one or two showcase gigs a year, all things permitting.

I'd have to believe Andrew has the soundboard recording, he produced the show, there's no way he didn't get that.
