Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork are interviewed in a six-page article on The Monkees in the June 2016 issue of Uncut. They discuss their new album Good Times!, the group's place in popular culture, their 1968 feature film Head, playing live, and much more. Bobby Hart and Bobby Dick (of The Sundowners, who opened for The Monkees on their 1967 summer tour), are also quoted in the piece.
The article mentions that Michael is part of the album while skipping the 50th Anniversary Tour, but goes on to say that "he hopes to play an anniversary show."
For those interested in reading the article, I downloaded the entire issue for $3.99 via the free Uncut app available through the iTunes Store. Uncut can also be found in music shops and at Barnes and Noble.
